Finding Out The Lines of Inquiry

Below is us writing about the different lines of Inquiry and what we have found out/need to find out. This is just us planning about the lines of Inquiry. ~E

Line of Inquiry:
How machinery affects finite resources within agriculture.
What do I already know?
  • Machinery uses up finite resources such as oil and power.
  • Agriculture uses machinery such as tractors, combine, fans and Drags.
What do I need to find out?
  • More on what machinery uses what finite resources.
  • How it could it affect the future and the wider world.
  • How it could impact humans.
How will I find out?
  • Books that are from the school library or any other library.
  • Survey people about agriculture
  • Newspaper/Magazines
  • Photographs
  • Pamphlets
How do I record this information?
  • On our Blog/Google Doc.
  • Inquiry Book - take notes on it.

Line of Inquiry:
Agriculture and the effect it has on finite resource.
What do I already know?
  • Water pollution is getting more serious since agriculture of the world started to develop.
What do I need to find out?
  • Why does agriculture caused more pollution?
  • How can we improve the situation of pollution/finite resources
How will I find out?
  • Online database
  • Books
How do I record this information?
  • Inquiry book
  • GoogleDoc
  • Blog (STP - Agriculture Work blog)

Line of Inquiry:
The responsibility humans have within agriculture.
What do I already know?
  • Humans who are farmers have control over what they plant.
  • What gets planted is based on the demand humans have, whether it is meat farming or crops.
  • Meat farming takes up ¾ of agriculture.
What do I need to find out?
  • How humans can make a change to farming meat or plant/crop.
  • Are there any other ways to make a change other than becoming vegetation.
How will I find out?
  • Book from school library
  • Internet
How do I record this information?

Make a post on our blog about our bibliography.
